Aims and Values

Language and Literacy are important to us, learning through stories & play as well as singing songs and rhymes.

The children will match, sort and count. They will follow sequences as they start to explore mathematical development.

We value personal, social and emotional development, and encourage all our children to be confident, fair and supportive of each other.

We ensure that there is always a wide range of different types of material to play with, and different themes explored per term, to help increase our knowledge and understanding of the world.

We have a range of excellent equipment, both indoors and outdoors, so that children can build confidence in their body skills and their physical development – whether indoors or outdoors, climbing or scribbling.

We love to get messy with paint, glue, crayons and pencils and we regularly enjoy imaginative play, both individually and as part of a group, stimulating our creative development.
